Last Friday, 10th April, our team stepped away from the daily routine and enjoyed a sunny day out of the office at the Ramla Bay hotel in Mellieħa, for a fun packed afternoon of whacky olympics. Recently we had some new employees who joined the company, so this event was the perfect opportunity to connect as a team and strengthen old and new relationships beyond the desks.

The day was filled with energy, teamwork, with a side of competitiveness. From physical to psychological activities, throughout the day we had a variety of events from archery to a sumo showdown competition between two teams. Overall, the activities were very well balanced and everyone got to participate in one way or another.
“It was lovely to see colleagues from different departments interact in a more informal setting, and I believe this helps in building stronger communication back at the office.” said a Fortytwo employee.
This is Fortytwo’s company culture. We ensure that we have time to step away from routine and allow each employee to return with motivation, a fresh perspective, and a stronger sense of team spirit. Events like these remind us that a big part of a company’s success is driven by the performance of its people and moments like these allow us to enjoy moments together, socialising over a drink and some food.
It was a wonderful day where new memories were made and everyone ended the day on a positive note.
Another stated, “I really enjoyed it and did not want it to come to an end, looking forward to the next.”
A big thank you goes to the fortytwo committee team and the professional team at JUGS Malta for organising such a memorable experience.
