Thoughts after Apps World Germany

April 28, 2016

Held on the 21st and 22nd of April, Apps World brings together the entire spectrum of the app ecosystem for debate and discussion over its two day event in Europe. The conference covers all aspects of apps – from development and marketing to analytics and testing – and offers a range of talks around wearables, mobile marketing and strategy, emerging payments, gaming, enterprise mobility and multi-platform development.

This was our third visit to Apps World and as exhibitors this year, we sent an enthusiastic contingent of in-house software and system operation developers as well as our commercial team to join the event.

This year’s conference offered our team a unique opportunity to demonstrate to software and system developers alike, just how easily Fortytwo’s REST API can integrate intelligent functionality into their software and also showcase Fortytwo’s messaging solutions, which deliver SMS. Instant Messaging (IM) and Voice Messaging to every corner of the globe.

As always, there was a keen interest from Apps World attendees including hosting service companies and potential clients who were particularly impressed with the seamless integration of messaging solutions using Fortytwo’s API as well as the latest enhancements to our IM solution.

The number of exhibitors seemed less than last year, however, the stream of visitors remained constant over the two days of the conference. In terms of networking, Apps World is a fantastic event and since it comes with its own Networking app we were able to attend talks from some of the industry’s biggest and brightest, meet with developers and start-ups as well as the leading players in the App industry and check out the latest apps with concepts as innovative as cloud controlled drones and gaming.

Overall, a truly great event for us, we were delighted with the feedback we received about our messaging solutions and also the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and potential clients.
