BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Our team is expanding, and we are now looking for a Business Development Executive who will be responsible for the entire sales process by generating leads, customer acquisition, management, and retention.


Responsibilities:

We are exploring ways to grow our team and in taking ownership of this role, your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Manage the Company’s daily sales process and activities to acquire new active clients, including customers’ retention and growth.
  • Assist the line manager with the department strategy, direction, and values, to ensure that the team’s aligned with such strategy.
  • Recommend and assist the Head of Business Development to develop and implement customer focused sales processes, policies, and procedures, while ensuring these are adhered to.
  • Assist in setting department budgets, forecasts, and targets to achieve the Company’s sales targets.
  • Assist in managing the commercial aspects of Fortytwo’s products, including product positioning and pricing, and competitor analysis.
  • Issue reports and information updates to management, colleagues, and direct reports as requested.
  • Work closely with the Customer Services team to ensure that customers are handled in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the in-house marketing team to identify requirements for any sales and marketing activities to pertinent customers, including sales and marketing collateral and campaigns.
  • Liaise with Legal and Finance departments to ensure an effective minimal risk accounts receivable from customers, sales channels, and partners.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Tech and Support departments to ensure that products and service match the requirements of the department, provide feedback and information accordingly.
  • Attend fairs, conferences and exhibitions, or travel on work as required from time to time.
  • Any other tasks and functions as they may arise, or that are appointed by the Chief Executive Officer or line manager.


Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a diploma or a degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a relevant field and at least one year working experience in international sales. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong sales and marketing acumen.
  • Target and objective driven.
  • Strong work ethics and time management.
  • Self-driven and able to assume responsibility, to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience within the communications and mobile messaging industry will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams and departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
